2. Purpose of Use of Personal Information

- Basic policy: We have established a basic policy covering compliance with applicable laws and guidelines and the provision of a complaints and inquiries desk.
- Organizational measures: We have appointed a Personal Information Protection Manager and clarified the scope of handling, the persons responsible, and the reporting lines.
- Personnel measures: We provide training to all personnel at least once a year and impose confidentiality obligations on them.
- Physical measures: Areas where personal data is handled are kept locked and under mechanical security, and measures are taken to prevent theft or loss of equipment and documents.
- Technical measures: We implement access control, protection against unauthorized access and malicious software, and encryption of communications.
5. Disclosure, Correction, and Deletion of Retained Personal Data
Where the individual concerned, or their authorised representative, requests notification of the purpose of use, disclosure, correction, addition or deletion, suspension of use or erasure, or suspension of provision to third parties of retained personal data, the Company will verify their identity and respond without delay in accordance with applicable law.

- Prescribed form: please complete the Request Form for Disclosure of Personal Information (PDF) and send it to us by post or email.
- Identity verification: please enclose a copy of an identity document such as a driver's licence. For a request made by a representative, please also enclose a power of attorney and a copy of the representative's own identity document.
- Fee: a fee of JPY 1,000 per request applies to requests for notification of the purpose of use and for disclosure (we will advise you of this when we send you the form). No fee applies to requests for correction, deletion or suspension of use.
- Method of reply: we will reply by the method you specify in your request (provision in electronic form, or delivery of a written document).
We may withhold all or part of the disclosure where doing so would risk harming the rights or interests of the individual or a third party, would seriously impede the proper conduct of our business, or would breach applicable law. In such cases we will notify you of that fact and the reason for it without delay.
6. Use of Cookies and Google Analytics
Our website may use Cookies to improve our services. If you do not wish to use Cookies, you can disable them in your browser settings.
In addition, we use Google Analytics, a web analysis tool provided by Google LLC. Google Analytics uses Cookies to collect website usage status, but it does not collect information that identifies individuals. The collected data is managed in accordance with Google's privacy policy. For opting out of Google Analytics, please use the Google Analytics Opt-out Add-on.
7. Changes to the Privacy Policy
The Company may change this policy as necessary. The modified policy will become effective when it is posted on the website.
